Frequently Asked Questions

Here you can find answers to some of our most frequently asked questions:

  • Are your animals safe? - Our animals have been handled regularly and so are very relaxed around people. They have also been selected for their safety – we won’t bring venomous snakes or any animals which are likely to bite.

  • What happens if children are scared? - We offer every child the opportunity to handle the animals, however our Rangers are sympathetic to fears and phobias and no-one is ever pressurised into getting up close if they would rather watch from a distance.

  • Do I need to provide anything? - We need enough space for pupils to sit on the floor so that they can handle the animals safely with no chance of dropping them. We’d also like you to tell us if any children have additional needs so we can make sure they are able to fully enjoy the animal experience.

  • How much does it cost? Please contact us to discuss a perfect package for your class or school. Our competitive prices start from £150 for Parties and £180 for a 2hr School Workshop plus travel.

  • How do I make a booking? - It’s quick and easy by email, contact form, phone or Facebook. We’re happy to be contacted during the day but may not answer if we are working, or in the evening and weekends. We’ll confirm everything by email and supply an invoice and risk assessment.

  • What animals do you bring? - We have a larger selection of animal which can be found here, on the day we will bring a selection of 10-12 animals this will be dependant on whether the animal is in shed/molt and also the animals temperament on the day as like people we all have our off days.

  •  Do children need to be sat on chairs? - We ask that children are sat on the floor in a horseshoe, this will prevent the animals from getting hurt if it is dropped.

  • How much room do we need? - We can do parties in the home or in a hall, however this is dependant on the number of children attending.

  • Can adults join in the fun? - By all means we are happy for adults to join in.
